- Dolman wrap of black voided velvet on faille ground accented with jet beads in a floral pattern; simulated sleeves from elbows to wrists trimmed in jet beads and lace ruffles; high, round neckline with standing band collar of lace trimmed along the neckline with jet beads; concealed hook and eye closures at front; 2 front panels hit below-hip length and are trimmed in lace and beads; back hits just below waist with a shaped dip at the center-back to accommodate a bustle; ties of ribbon on the inner center-back tie around waist to exaggerate the bustle; small inner pocket is crescent shaped with pleated trim at top at left bust; lined in black silk satin.
