- Two men stand on a wooden plank embedded into the base of a large tree. Each man poses holding an axe that rests in a cut-out section of the tree. The man on the left side of the image holds a a glass bottle and a long saw with a wooden handle. Both men are dressed in hats, long sleeved shirts, suspenders, trousers, and shoes. Visible lying on the ground at the base of the tree are large leaves and a pile of wood chips. The men are flanked on either side by large tree trunks. The background of the image is filled with trees.
