One leaf (two pages) from a manuscript astronomical table, also known as a Zij, measuring and recording the movement of the constellations, the fixed stars, and the longitudes and latitudes for certain cities in the Muslim world. Compiled by the astronomer Ibn al-Raffa. On wove machine made paper. Recto: 18 rows and 10 columns to the page, in black, red, and blue ink, within ruled borders. Verso: 19 rows and 8 columns to the page, in black, red, and blue ink, within ruled borders.
