Description: A view looking down the railroad tracks belonging to the Oregon-Washington Railroad and Navigation Company. The tracks curve to the center of the photo, leading the eye to a low hill covered with snow far in the distance. Closer at hand, the tracks pass by the bare branches of deciduous trees, telegraph poles, and a few tall evergreens on the right as they enter a gap between two hills. Fences are visible a few feet away from the rails on both sides. On the left side of the picture, beyond the fence, stand two tipis under large bare-branched trees.
