- Black and white image of an Associated Press wire photo of Indiana University's Don Lash (left) and the University of Oregon's George Varoff after they both set world records at a track meet held in Boston on February 13, 1937. Lash established a new record in the two-mile run and Varoff cleared 14 feet 5 inches to set a new mark in the pole vault.
