- 3 p. A typed letter to Judge Bolon B. Turner, president of the Sigma Chi Corporation, from University of Oregon President Arthur S. Flemming and Oregon State University President James H. Jensen, jointly. The letter, dated November 11, 1965, is on the letterhead of the Oregon State Board of Higher Education. Flemming and Jensen provide a summary of the Oregon State Board of Higher Education's policy to withdraw recognition of any fraternity or sorority that restricts membership on the basis of race or religion and cite several clauses from the fraternity's constitution that seem to be at odds with the Board's policy.
