1 p. Typed on University of Oregon News Bureau letterhead. A news release annoucing that University of Oregon President, Robert D. Clark's plan to speak on his personal views of the conflict in Indochina the evening of May 13, 1970. Clark planned this address in response to an invitation to speak on the topic at a Student-Faculty Coalition meeting scheduled earlier the same day. The news release notes that Clark declined to speak at the meeting, as he did not consider himself an expert on the Indochina issue, but planned to share his personal views on the subject in his evening address.
