- A large ship, identified as the U.S.S. Relief, floats under the Saint John's Bridge in Portland, Oregon. The suspension bridge has two tall towers with spires. The bridge is attached to land that is filled with streets, trees, and dwellings. On the right side of the image a warehouse next to a dock that is filled with lumber. Large logs are visible floating near the bank of the river. In the foreground of the image tree limbs and boats are partially visible.
