Description: A group of four individuals, two women and two men, picket on a city sidewalk in front of the Governor's Building located in Portland, Oregon. The group is identified as culinary workers and bartenders belonging to a local labor union. The man on the far left of the image is dressed in a hat, turtleneck, trousers, and a piece of material with the handwritten words, Unfair to C.I.O Local 636 and Organized-Labor. The man standing behind him is dressed in a suit and necktie. One of the women is dressed in a hat. Both women wear coats, skirts and hold purses. The sidewalk on which they stand is lined with buildings, businesses, metal balconies, doorways, pedestrians, and signs. Signs that read Silver Grill, Superiot Eats, Mission Orange, and Coca Cola project from the surface of the buildings. Automobiles are parked next to the curb of the sidewalk. Buildings and signs are visible in the distance.
