- A view of the facade of a theater identified as the Broadway Theatre located in Portland, Oregon. The theatre is situated on a corner of a city block that is lined with automobiles, shops, and buildings. An elaborate marquee extends from the corner of the theatre building advertising the movie Comrade X starring Clark Gable and Hedy Lamarr. On the side of the marquee the movie A Little Bit of Heaven starring Gloria Jean is being advertised. Large words that read The Broadway are visible on the surface of the building in cursive style writing that is outlined in lights. A neon sign that extends from the building reads Broadway Theatre. Movie posters hang near the entryway of the theatre. In the foreground of the image is a paved street embedded with railway ties. Pedestrians, lamp posts, and a bicycle are also visible in the image.
