Description
A group of band members, identified as the Air Corps Band, stand on the street in front of the Oriental Theatre. The men hold their instruments and are dressed in uniforms that consist of long coats with collars, hats, and pants. On the marquee of the theater are the words, Oriental Theater Where The Sound Is Better. At the center of the marquee is an elephant with tusks that is flanked by two smaller elephants. All of the words and designs on the marquee are outlined with neon lights. Small lights surround the words that display the theater's current events. On the lower corners of the marquee are two sculptures set into decorately carved niches. The building's facade has ornately carved surface decoration, and arched windows. Pedestrians stand on the sidewalk behind the band. The foreground is filled with a street, partly made of bricks, and railway ties. Visible in the background are theatrical posters, a bicycle, street signs, a street lamp, a Coca-Coal sign, and an awning.
