- Black and white image. Construction workers in an unidentified town work in a trench between street blocks that are lined with buildings. They appear to be building a road through the town. Large pieces of wood and dirt are in the center of the image, where a long trench is visible. A pedestrian walks next to store windows that line the sidewalks. Also visible on the sidewalk are wooden utility poles and wooden bleachers. Signs hang from from the buildings. Also visible in the image is a clock, light fixtures, and electric lines.
