- Black and white image. An unidentified older women is seated on a wooden chair dressed in formal attire. Her long dress has lacework and pleats around the neck and sleeves. Round buttons are visible on the lower portion of the dress. Her attire is accented with long white gloves and a beaded necklace. She appears to be seated on a porch whose surface is covered by a rug. She is seated in a chair that's composed of shaped branches. Hanging above her head is a birdcage. The dwelling behind her displays a framed window draped with sheer curtains. In the top right edge of the image is a hanging plant.
