- Black and white image. An interior view of a classroom that is decorated for a fair. Blackboards line the wall with handwriting on the surface. The words Welcome to our fair are visible on a section of the blackboard. Children's drawings and fern leaves hang on the top edges of the blackboard. In front of the blackboard sits a wooden teacher's desk that has papers and two plates with food on its surface. Also visible on this desk is a round vegetable with a carved face that is topped with a pointed hat and has pleated material for a body. Next to this desk is a woven basket. The desk sits upon a rug with abstract patterns on its surface. In the foreground of the image are wooden desks with iron supports. On the surface of the desks are three large squash.
