- Black and white image. An indoor portrait of students seated inside the Lynx Hollow school, located in Lane County, Oregon. Many of the students are seated in rows at long, wooden desks. Two women and one boy stand next to the back wall of the room. Hanging on this wall are hats and jackets. Three pictures hang on the back wall. Two of these pictures are located above two wooden doors. Next to the wooden door on the right is a blackboard that has handwriting on its surface. In the left foreground of the image is a wood-burning stove. A metal pipe extends from the top of the stove towards the ceiling. Behind the stove a wooden box is visible.
