- Note

The National Register nomination incorrectly cites Edgar M. Lazarus as the architect of this building. The Oregonian (1909) and Portland Daily Abstracts (1909) confirm that David C. Lewis was the architect. The Lazarus office was responsible for 1906 designs that were not executed. Carl L. Linde was superintendent of construction. The design and construction of the Electric Building is thoroughly documented in articles in the Morning Oregonian.
