While Hans Hanselman produced important hotel designs in Portland, 1911-1912, little is known about him. His works include Mallory Hotel (Portland, 1912), New Houston Hotel (Sally McCracken Apartments, Portland, 1911), and the Hoyt Hotel (Portland, 1912).
