Note
Alikut Hall is named for Chief Alikut, the half brother of Chief Joseph. His father was of the Nez Perce People and his mother was from the Cayuse Tribe. Chief Alikut was a noted map maker, hunter, and war chief. He also represented his people in negotiating with the United States government.
