Biographical Information
The work represents an Inupiaq Drummer from Northern Alaska from Barrow, Alaska (The Top of the World). The drummer in the past was usually also a Medicine Man (Unatqut), today they are caretakers of tradition, oral historian. (Ahvakana, 1995)
