- A black and white print of a large salmon head exhibiting different methods of texture: hundreds of white dots shading and forming patterns on the salmon's head. Surrounding the salmon's head is a cityscape, and horizontal and vertical white lines. There are also three boats placed on the top portion of the horizontal lines. At the top of the piece is a rectangle with a fishing hook inside of it, and the bottom right corner has a rectangle enclosing a map. - Printmaking linoleum block print Linocut as an art form became available for use in the early part of the 20th Century. A relief printing process, linocut built on the earlier use of the woodcut. The areas which in the final image will be blank are cut away leaving raised areas in the linoleum. Ink is rolled or daubed over the raised areas, a sheet of paper is placed on top. Pressure is applied to the linocut and paper thereby adhering the ink to the paper surface. The mirror image is then transferred to the paper. Unlike the woodcut the artist does not have to be concerned with the wood grain in the final image. (OAC documentation)

- My use of multiple images is an attempt to visually describe the character of real experience. Like memories, the images are layered and juxtaposed. Together they give a more complete impression of experience than a single image can provide. (Cunningham, 1990)
