- 1 p. Richard Notkin's 1991 exhibition list. Notkin makes hghly detailed teapots that explore social and political themes. He studied under Ken Ferguson at the Kansas City Art Institute and under Robert Arneson at the University of California. He is known for his socio-critical tile mural "The Gift" and his sculptural re-interpretations of the Yixing teapot.
