A pregnant yearling Nubian goat grazing spring clover; so simple, but the colors are reversed. This is, afterall, not a photograph of the goat itself, but an expression of the memory of the epiphany of that moment, that little slice of eternity that resonates through me, reminding me of my own youth and innocence now passed, with all those enormous questions, such as, "What are you going to do with your life?", still not asked; and with all those beautiful, innocent, fading memories, on which we've based our lives, whoever we are, and whatever w come to do, caught in that sparkling private eternity, the memories. (Kepley, 1990)
