Currently part of the RiverBend Correctional Facility and located at the base of the Blue Mountain Grande Ronde River, Camp Hilgard was a 25-bed minimum security work/study camp for male youth offenders transitioning from an Oregon Youth Authority (OYA) youth correctional facility to their communities. In 1979, Camp Hilgard generally served youth from Central and Eastern Oregon, but occasionally served youth from communities west of the Cascades. Biographical Information
In 1976 and 1977 this machine brought victory to Germany at Le Mans 24 hour race. This machine also had an engine of 120 cu. inches, but thanks to turbo charging produced 500 HP.
