- The Knight Library is the largest library facility in Oregon, holding collections with a replacement value of over $100 million. Approximately 1.85 million of the University Library's 2.4 million volumes are housed in Knight, along with microforms, government documents, sound recordings, films, and videotapes. - In each piece we have attempted to create a window of changing views, formed by each moments unique positioning of the sun, the earth and the viewer. We see this work not necessarily as an object, but as constantly changing images interacting with weather and time of day and year. (Storrs and Bales, 1993).
