- "This piece is part of a series done and based on Greek, Egyptian and classical art. This piece constitutes a change in palette and imagery. My work in the past showed a huge key color choice and this work shows Earth tones. I do not say I am committed to this palette from now on - only in this series. This imagery is less narrative and more derivative of classical art." Guske, 1991
