This view presents a detail of the slightly convex, variously proportioned rectangles and trapezoidal shapes with fluctuating surface treatments that create the apperance of a cross-hatch weave that surronds the main stairway in Lawrence Hall. Polished & burnished heat-treated stainless steel; 60 x 5 x 10 feet From 1997 - 2005, Bruce West was Head of the Sculpture Department and Senior Lecturer at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon.
