[The project consisted of] cutting, welding, forging and an inlay stripping techinique of weld lines at the edge of each component. All of the forming was done by hammerin and cold bending in a press designed and built by the artist. The whole project was sandblasted after welding to start the oxidizing process. (Bloom, 1992)
