This abstracted scene presents a green human form dressed in a maroon hat, an orange shirt and light blue tie, and dark blue pants. The figures stands before a strange tree that emits black-and-white striped vines. The figure holds onto one of the vines. The context of the scene is rendered mostly in blue and green patterns with a varigated yellow sky.

My son, Daniel, latched onto a tree in our backyard. It became his toy, his friend. He loved to strip its branches of leaves (Ibach, 1991).
