Biographical Information
Altocumulus II is one of a series of weavings exploring the structural variations of multiple-harness twill weaves and other pattern weaves and depicting land, sky, and water forms. This series, which was begun in 1975, is a reaction to the geography and weather conditions of the Northwest. (Van Leunen, 1981.)
