Biographical Information
The site that I have chosen for my proposal is the 40'x 20' wall of the Zone 3. Atrium Lobby. The art piece that I am proposing is an assemblage of 5 individual landscape oil paintings that will form a 20' tall by 5' wide vertical column. The proposed artwork will be centered on the wall with approximately 7.5' on either side and with at least 6' from the floor to the bottom of the painting. The subject of the artwork will be landscape images based on the geography of the Columbia River Plateau. The geometric configurations of my final assembled compositions are based on the weaving and beading designs of the Walla Walla, Umatilla and Cayuse Tribes and are common to the tribes of the Columbia Plateau.
