Beyond what has been provided herein, we have no additional information regarding this artwork. Holman, a UO graduate, operated Mack Foundry in Drain, Oregon for many years. He later relocated his art gallery from Drain to Gardiner, Oregon, a coastal town located on the north bank of the Umpqua River. He teaches occasionally at Southwestern Oregon Community College. Holman was responsible for the restoration of the Knight Library north facade bronze doors, originally designed by O. B. Dawson. Spring Run was unveiled, and the Glen Starlin courtyard was dedicated on May 18, 2000, at the Museum of Natural History.
