- Biographical Information
- The 65 feet wall piece that wraps around the exterior of the auditorium and continues into the lobby is composed of 300 interlocking polyvinylchloride (pvc) tubes fastened in a diagonal configuration. The work serves as a counterpoint to the strong and repetitive horizontal liines of the building. Some of the tubes are torn and cut, suggesting the stratification of geological formations; this also serves as a metaphor of freedom and for breaking of bonds.
