Description
Design red on a black background. 1. Farewell scene: a youthful male figure, attired for the chase, stands before a female figure, who holds out to him in her hand a phiale; she has her hair bound with a opisthosphendone, and wears a talaric chiton with sleeves and a peplos; the youthful male figure wears a petasus hanging at his back, and a chlamys fastened by a perone on the breast; in his right hand he holds two spears; behind him stands a youthful male figure leaning on his staff and advancing his right hand as if conversing; he wears a diadem and a mantle; both males are young and beardless.
