- The sand surrounded me as I stood on top of a dune at the White Sands National Monument. I shot a photograph. Then I rotated my body just a little and shot another photo, then I rotated again and shot, and then again, and again. I shot 13 photos for about a 270 degree view of the white dunes. I scanned all the photos and used a photo manipulation program to meld all the images together. The paper used is Hahnemule Allegretto. The gypsum sand is from New Mexico. The font is called Sand. And this book is hand crafted by Jill Timm.
