- Description Of Manifestation
-
This miniature has been letterpress printed on a Vandercook 4 by EVE Press in the year 2004. The text has been extracted from research on war and genocide used to create a series of books to serve as witnesses to the capacity of humans to discriminate, maim and kill. The materials used were in the studio at the time this book came to life. The body type is Franklin Gothic Condensed, 8/9, the display type is ATF Rondo, the ornaments are from my large collection of dingbats. The illustrations are linoleum cuts. The endsheets were printed from a Photoshop illustration converted to a photopolymer plate. A medieval leather binding of red pig suede over sculpted wood boards is planned for this edition of 100.
