This book is a fascimile of The Stars, the third project in Contemporary Editions, a series of limited-edition books and other printed works published by the Library Council of the Museum of Modern Art, New York. Eliot Weinberger's text was translated from the English into Arabic by Sinan Antoon, into Chinese by Bei Dao,into Hindi by Siddharth Chowdhury, into Japanese by Hiroaki Sato, and into Maori by Piripi Walker Edited by May Castleberry and David Frankel Designed by Vija Celmins Typography designed and typeset by Leslie Miller, the Grenfell Press, New York, and Atlas Translations, London. Production by Leslie Miller. Printed and bound by Trifolio, Verona, Italy, from Vija Celmins's etchings printed by Doris Simmelink and Chris Sukimoto, Simmelink/Sukimoto Editions, Kingston, New York. The paper is Tintoretto and the English-language typeface is Minion
