An outside Photograph of six non-Indian men dressed in Suits standing in an open field behind a rock cairn. The rock cairn marks the location of the Battle of the Grande Ronde. The man right in front of the rock cairn is holding something in his hand. There are two dogs, one lying down in front of the men on the left side of the photograph and the other one is on the right side of the men, looking away from the camera. In the background are a number of houses and barns with wooden rail fences around most of the buildings.
