Three Native American men and four children stand around outside a tipi. They are accompanied by two horses, a cow and two calves. More livestock are visible in the backround. One of the calves appears to be nursing. Miscellaneous gear and supplies sit on the edge of the photograph, just to the left of the tipi.

An outside photograph of a family standing next to a tipi and horses and a cow. The tipi which is the back is made of canvas and a few Tule Mats on top. There are six poles on the outside of the tipi to hold the canvas and the Tule Mat down. There are four children standing behind the tipi and they are all facing the camera. They are all dressed in Euro-American clothing. One of the children is holding the reins to a horse and a cow. A man is standing between the horse and the cow. The calf is nursing on the cow. There are two men standing behind the cow and a horse with a saddle on the horse behind the man on the far right of the photograph. All three men are wearing cloth shirts and wearing blankets wrapped around them. On the left side of the photograph in the back ground which would be the front of the tipi is part of the supplies for the camp. Writing on the photograph is under the tipi and the horse and the cow is "Poker Jim's Camp Near Cayuse Station Maj. Moorhouse" In the far back ground is a mixed trees of Cottonwood and Pines.
