Two Native American girls, identified as being from the Cayuse tribe, are standing on a blanket, outside in front of a tipi. One girl is wearing a dress, moccasins, earrings, and a necklace. Another girl is wearing a dress, moccasins, a necklace, and a belt. Both girls' hair is tied in braids.

An outside photograph of two children in their regalia standing in front of a half canvas and half Tule Mat tipi. The girl on the left side of the photograph is wearing Euro-American style dress and the other one is wearing a Selvedge Trade Cloth style dress. Both are wearing necklaces and plain moccasins. The girl on the right side of the photograph is wearing a beaded leather belt. They are both standing in front of a tipi next to a door. The door is made of cloth material. There are a few poles on the outside of the tipi to hold down the canvas and the Tule mats.
