The wool blanket is wrapped around his left shoulder and under his right arm. Writing on the photograph is "Victor Williams Cayuse Tribe, Major Moorhouse" which is on the black strip of the blanket and on his chest. On his left shoulder is a stamp "1800 by Lee Moorhouse"
