- Tribal Notes
-
An outside photograph of a family of five standing next to a horse and a wagon being pulled by a horse. The first woman, facing the camera, is dressed in a wing dress, wrapped in a shawl with a scarf on her head. The woman next to her has her back to the camera and is dressed the same as the first. They are both standing in front of a horse with blanket on its back. In front of the horse is a man wearing a cloth shirt, coat, pants, boots and a hat holding a baby in a cradle board. Just behind him is a wooden wagon with a woman sitting on the seat holding the reins to the horse that is pulling the wagon. She is wearing a wing dress and a scarf on her head. They are all in front of a creek running from left to right of the photograph. There are different size cottonwood trees in the background. Writing on the photograph is "Jack Chapman and Family Maj. Moorhouse" which is written under the man holding the baby.
