Description: A Native-American woman lies on a bed, covered by a blanket. Her hair is in braids. The wall behind her is covered with baskets, bags, a model canoe, and artwork. On the floor around the bed are more baskets, antlers, a stone mortar with several pestles, and a pistol.

Tribal Notes: An interior photograph of an unidentified white woman lying on a small bed asleep, surrounded by objects that have been collected by Major Moorhouse. Some of these objects have appeared in Major Moorhouse's other photographs on different people. The woman is covered up with a wool blanket up to her face. All around the bed are a variety of different baskets and bags hanging on the wall. All around the bed are baskets, bags, and at the edge of the bed in the middle are four pestles in a mortar. Next to the mortar, on a pillow, is a flintlock pistol. Hanging on the wall behind her are a variety of different size bags and baskets. On each side of the photograph are two pictures with frames.
