- Dress of slate blue silk faille with soft colored floral embroidery; round neckline with high, standing band collar with open sections and lace trim; bodice has yoke and center-front of off-white silk; silk faille has scoop neckline and long sleeves with cuffs that come up over the elbow; front opens up and has velvet facings in a deep teal color trimmed with floral lace chain; velvet waistband with gold soutache trim; back hook and eye closings; full-length skirt is slim through the waist and hips and is gored in the back for fullness; velvet inset band at hem with embroidery below and elaborate chain stitch embroidered flowers above the band; same elaborate embroidery on cuffs and trimming opening; soutache trim at scoop neckline; inner waistband with hook and eyes; bodice is lined in cambric.
