- Dress of ecru silk taffeta wide neckline and short bouffant sleeves; neckline is trimmed in pointed scallops of self-taffeta that fall over the shoulders; back closing of button covered hooks and eyes; band at waist; skirt is pleated at front and cartridge pleated at center-back; 2 padded bands at lower skirt trimmed with applied pointed scallops about 16" above hem of full-length skirt; all hand-made.
