- Dress of ecru cotton with bright brown pattern of flowers and bricks in vertical stripes: a) Bodice has high, round neckline and long pagoda sleeves with tiered fringe at ends; dropped shoulders; bodice is fitted through the waist and has an A-line to below hip length trimmed in alternating gold and brown fringe; button-front closure with opaque white buttons carved in a woman's head in profile; white portion is encased in gold braided cabochon; boning; backed in muslin. b) Skirt is full length and wide; tightly gathered at waistband; concealed right pocket; ties at side; hook and eyes at side closure.
