- This branch is reached by crossing the main river at Belknap Bridge and turning to the West. The road is only a few miles long but the good trail shown in this picture leads up the South Fork some twenty miles to the Ollalie Trail. The South Fork country affords good hunting after bad weather drives the deer out of the higher mountains. When Jim Jeffries was heavyweight champion he had a hunting camp on the South Fork.
