Dress ensemble of pale yellow cotton batiste with embroidered pedals grouped in fours in blues and bright brown and insets of floral crocheted lace: a) bodice has standing ring collar and yoke of crocheted lace; bands of cerulean blue velvet accent the bodice and long sleeves; bodice is pleated and bloused at the bust area; sleeves are slim fitting through the lower arms and have a single hook and eye closure at the wrists. b) Skirt of pale yellow cotton with pedals and vertical lace bands; slim through the hips; slight A-line; full-length.

Record says c.1900-1913 but I put it before 1906 for sure. Style and the size of the waist indicates that the dress had to be worn with a corset which would put it before 1906 as well as the fact that the dress has a full sleeve and full blouse unlike later dresses that show a bit more skin. Lack of bustle would place it after 1900. (Samantha Shaver 2016)
