- Cape of black striped silk with vertical lines of jet bead-work and chiffon ruffle trim; circular cape has standing band collar with jet bead pattern of star flowers blocked in squares alternating; collar is trimmed in black chiffon ruffles; yoke has same bead design and is trimmed in chiffon ruffles; cape is pleated into the yoke; hem is trimmed in ruffles; bead design on lower portion resembles decorated pine trees placed vertically from yoke to hem; lined in black silk brocade in a star flower pattern; hook and eye closures at collar and yoke.
