- Bodice of black silk taffeta with round collar trimmed in off-white lace and embellished with white flower appliqués; hook and eye closure at center-front on a natural linen panel with embroidered teardrops and black dots; teardrops are light brown fading to green; lace trims the center-front panel; bloused bodice has tucks; long leg-o-mutton sleeves with trim of embroidered linen; button tassel accents at front and back; cummerbund-like waistband; lined in ivory silk taffeta.
