- Dressing gown of lilac silk with high, round neckline trimmed in scalloped lace with an additional ruffle of tulle trimmed in crochet lace; yoke has an overlay of web-like lace with a geometric design; satin ribbon with bow at front and back is below yoke; three-quarter length sleeves are very full with gathered band near elbow; ruffle trim at sleeve ends of floral lace; bodice is gathered into a cased band at the waist; skirt is full length with a dipped hem in back; center-back fan pleats below yoke release fullness at back and dip to floor length; attached ribbon ties at back tie in a bow at front; concealed button closure at front with hook and eyes at yoke; bodice is lined in white cotton.
